Is this the right pack for your child?

For the run-up to 5 November: all the colour and excitement of Bonfire Night in printable form — perfect for children who love the pictures but not the bangs, and for the days before an organised display. If your child wants crafts with scissors and glue too, our Bonfire Night guide has six makes to try.

Torn between packs? want colouring for the whole year, not just November? The Mini Colouring Pack has more pages.

What's inside

  • Two big colouring pages — a firework sky and a crackling bonfire to colour
  • Count the Fireworks: four groups to count and write (numbers to 10)
  • Trace the Bonfire Words — bonfire, firework, rocket, sparkler, hot, sky — then write them solo
  • A 'draw your own firework show' page, plus a grown-ups' page with the safety essentials

How to use this pack at home

  1. Print the colouring pages on the thickest paper you have — fireworks deserve bold felt-tip colour.
  2. Count out loud together on the counting page, pointing at each firework — then let them write the number.
  3. On the tracing page, say each word as they trace it; the words will appear on real Bonfire Night signs and books all week.
  4. Read the grown-ups' page before the 5th — it covers displays, sparklers, layers and ear defenders in one minute.
